A Yety is a savings plan you create for your customer. You set the total price, deposit amount, and payment schedule. Your customer pays the deposit to start, then the remaining balance is collected automatically on the dates you choose — weekly or monthly. It's Save Now, Buy Later: your customers save up with you instead of going into debt.
Klarna and other Buy Now, Pay Later services put your customers into debt — they borrow money to pay you immediately, then owe the lender. With Yety, there's no borrowing. Your customers save up with you over time. No credit checks, no interest, no debt.
You can start free with up to 3 active payment plans. Transaction fees are 2% + €0.25 per payment on the free plan, with lower rates on paid plans. No setup fees, no monthly minimums on the free tier. See our pricing section above for details.
Payments go directly to your bank account via Stripe. During signup, you'll complete Stripe's quick onboarding to connect your bank account. Once verified, Stripe deposits funds to your bank automatically on a weekly basis.
Stripe automatically retries failed payments over several days. You'll be notified when a payment fails and again if retries don't succeed, so you can follow up with your customer.
They don't have to. To start saving, customers just enter their name, email, and card details — no passwords required. But if they choose to create an account, they get a dashboard where they can see all their savings plans in one place, and update their payment method. Either way, they'll receive email receipts directly from Stripe for each payment.
Not at the moment. During signup, you'll create a new Stripe account through Yety. This only takes a few minutes and ensures everything is connected properly. If you already use Stripe for other purposes, the new account runs separately.
When the final payment is collected, the savings plan is marked complete. You'll be notified so you know it's time to deliver the product or service. Your customer can see the completed status in their email receipts and dashboard.
Yes. You can invite team members and assign them roles — Staff can create and manage payment plans, Managers can also invite others, and Owners have full control including billing and Stripe settings.
